MFM Daily Devotional Sunday 21st February 2021 (Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional By Dr. D.K Olukoya)

TOPIC: Stepping out of the Cage of Loneliness

Fire Scripture

Ps 34:17-20

Memory verse

Matt. 28:20b- “And lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

MFM Daily Devotional Sunday 21 February 2021

There is nothing profitable about loneliness. It destroys the body, soul and spirit. It is also a subtle way of establishing satanic authority upon the life of its victim. The Bible says and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free! Jesus is the Truth! Whoever He sets free is free indeed! (John 8:32, 36).

Therefore, the starting point is to find your way back to God when you’re still conscious, before it becomes a serious mental and emotional problem. Repent of the sin of keeping away from God and man. Ask for grace and power to pull down the spiritual barricade and satanic strongholds, and let in the Spirit of God (James 4:6). Commit your burdens unto Him (1 Pet.5:7). He is the Master Burden-Bearer. He will lighten the burdens of your heart and take away that heaviness. By the help of the Holy Spirit, seek and embrace peace always (Phil. 4: 4-7).

Make a decision to live amicably with fellow men, as advised in (Heb.12:14; Rom.12:18). Surround yourself always with the right company and network of godly persons. The book of John asks, “How can you claim to love God when you don’t like your fellow man who you see from time to time?” (1 John 4:20-21). Agree with the fact that everyone cannot be like you. Forgive others and forgive yourself! Don’t keep record of offenses, rather be quick to resolve them and move on (Eph. 4:26).

Renew your heart and thoughts always with the word of God, doing away with all your former bad habits (Rom. 12:2; Phil. 4:8;Eph. 4:2024). Speak health to your life and be ready to do an aggressive warfare to evacuate every stubborn and unholy tenant within, by praying always against polluting spirits and every power contrary to the Holy Spirit, pulling down every satanic stronghold of the mind in the name of Jesus.

Beloved, joy is a fruit of the Spirit and a godly virtue you must imbibe. Let it fill your heart. Praise God at all times! God inhabits the praises of His people. Loneliness cannot thrive where the Spirit of God dwells. Let everything in and around you praise the Lord! Finally, reject the counsel of the devil: “I’m okay all by myself”, “I can make it all alone!” Let God in! When Jesus sets you free, loneliness cannot imprison you!

Motivational Quote

With Jesus in the vessel of your life you become a new person, because His fullness fill the whole of you and the change is evident.

Prophetic Word

In partnership with Jesus, you are more than conqueror and your life shall attract people thatmatter. Loneliness shall never find a place in yourlife, in the nameof Jesus.

HYMN

Make my heart a new

1. God, who touchest earth with beauty,

Make me lovely too;

With Thy Spirit recreate me,

Make my heart anew.

2. Like Thy springs and running waters,

Make me crystal pure;

Like Thy rocks of towering grandeur,

Make me strong and sure.

3. Like Thy shining waves in sunlight,

Make me glad and free;

Like the straightness of the pine trees,

Let me upright be.

4. Like the arching of the heavens,

Lift my thoughts above;

Turn my dreams to noble action,

Ministries of love.

5. God, who touchest earth with beauty,

Make me lovely too;

Keep me ever, by Thy Spirit,

Pure and strong and true

Highly Exalted by Naffymar

UK based urban gospel artist, producer and songwriter Naffymar, is out with a spanking new record titled “Highly Exalted”.
Coming three months after the release of her chart breaking House of God EP with songs that have now become anthems for Christian celebrations, the Music Graduate shows her versatility in this worship ballad.

With the synergy of South African based producer Cliff M and Nigeria’s mix and master engineer Osadebey, Naffymar seems to have cracked the code to leave listeners in total surrender in worship to God.

Catholic Daily Mass Reading Wednesday 7th April 2021 Online

Daily Reading for Wednesday April 7, 2021
Reading 1, Acts 3:1-10
Responsorial Psalm, Psalms 105:1-2, 3-4, 6-7, 8-9
Gospel, Luke 24:13-35

Reading 1, Acts 3:1-10

1 Once, when Peter and John were going up to the Temple for the prayers at the ninth hour,

2 it happened that there was a man being carried along. He was a cripple from birth; and they used to put him down every day near the Temple entrance called the Beautiful Gate so that he could beg from the people going in.

3 When this man saw Peter and John on their way into the Temple he begged from them.

4 Peter, and John too, looked straight at him and said, ‘Look at us.’

5 He turned to them expectantly, hoping to get something from them,

6 but Peter said, ‘I have neither silver nor gold, but I will give you what I have: in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, walk!’

7 Then he took him by the right hand and helped him to stand up. Instantly his feet and ankles became firm

8 he jumped up, stood, and began to walk, and he went with them into the Temple, walking and jumping and praising God.

9 Everyone could see him walking and praising God,

10 and they recognised him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the Temple. They were all astonished and perplexed at what had happened to him.

Catholic Daily Mass Reading Wednesday 7th April 2021 Online

Responsorial Psalm, Psalms 105:1-2, 3-4, 6-7, 8-9
1 Alleluia! Give thanks to Yahweh, call on his name, proclaim his deeds to the peoples!

2 Sing to him, make music for him, recount all his wonders!

3 Glory in his holy name, let the hearts that seek Yahweh rejoice!

4 Seek Yahweh and his strength, tirelessly seek his presence!

6 Stock of Abraham, his servant, children of Jacob whom he chose!

7 He is Yahweh our God, his judgements touch the whole world.

8 He remembers his covenant for ever, the promise he laid down for a thousand generations,

9 which he concluded with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.

Gospel, Luke 24:13-35
13 Now that very same day, two of them were on their way to a village called Emmaus, seven miles from Jerusalem,

14 and they were talking together about all that had happened.

15 And it happened that as they were talking together and discussing it, Jesus himself came up and walked by their side;

16 but their eyes were prevented from recognising him.

17 He said to them, ‘What are all these things that you are discussing as you walk along?’ They stopped, their faces downcast.

18 Then one of them, called Cleopas, answered him, ‘You must be the only person staying in Jerusalem who does not know the things that have been happening there these last few days.’

19 He asked, ‘What things?’ They answered, ‘All about Jesus of Nazareth, who showed himself a prophet powerful in action and speech before God and the whole people;

20 and how our chief priests and our leaders handed him over to be sentenced to death, and had him crucified.

21 Our own hope had been that he would be the one to set Israel free. And this is not all: two whole days have now gone by since it all happened;

22 and some women from our group have astounded us: they went to the tomb in the early morning,

23 and when they could not find the body, they came back to tell us they had seen a vision of angels who declared he was alive.

24 Some of our friends went to the tomb and found everything exactly as the women had reported, but of him they saw nothing.’

25 Then he said to them, ‘You foolish men! So slow to believe all that the prophets have said!

26 Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer before entering into his glory?’

27 Then, starting with Moses and going through all the prophets, he explained to them the passages throughout the scriptures that were about himself.

28 When they drew near to the village to which they were going, he made as if to go on;

29 but they pressed him to stay with them saying, ‘It is nearly evening, and the day is almost over.’ So he went in to stay with them.

30 Now while he was with them at table, he took the bread and said the blessing; then he broke it and handed it to them.

31 And their eyes were opened and they recognised him; but he had vanished from their sight.

32 Then they said to each other, ‘Did not our hearts burn within us as he talked to us on the road and explained the scriptures to us?’

33 They set out that instant and returned to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven assembled together with their companions,

34 who said to them, ‘The Lord has indeed risen and has appeared to Simon.’

35 Then they told their story of what had happened on the road and how they had recognised him at the breaking of bread.
